The \text{\sect} command in LaTeX is used to produce the section symbol (§), which is often used in legal and academic documents to refer to a particular section of a document or a book.

Examples

Referring to Section 1.1 in a document.

\text{\sect} 1.1

Referring to multiple sections, Sections 2 and 3, in a document.

See \text{\sect}\text{\sect} 2 and 3 for more details.

Indicating that the results can be found in Section 4 of the document.
