\nsupseteq

The symbol \nsupseteq is used in mathematics to denote that a set is not a superset of another set. In set theory, a set A is a superset of a set B if all elements of B are also elements of A. The negated relation \nsupseteq indicates that this is not the case, meaning there is at least one element in B that is not in A.

Examples

Set A is not a superset of set B.

A \nsupseteq B

The set \{1, 2, 3\} is not a superset of the set \{2, 3, 4\} because it does not contain the element 4.

\{1, 2, 3\} \nsupseteq \{2, 3, 4\}

Indicates that set X does not contain all elements of set Y.

X \nsupseteq Y
